Americans will return to space after almost a decade

After almost ten years, Americans will return to space on their own.

Through a SpaceX spacecraft, NASA will take two astronauts to the International Space Station in May.

The United States space agency, NASA, has announced that in May it will launch its first manned mission from American soil for the first time in almost ten years. The takeoff will take place on the 27th in Florida.

The mission will involve taking two astronauts to the International Space Station. Both the rocket and the ship it carries were developed by SpaceX, the company of billionaire Elon Musk.

Anyway, if the venture is successful, SpaceX will be the first private company to send NASA astronauts into space. Since 2011, NASA has been using only Russian rockets for manned flights.

In summary, the mission's astronauts are Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley, who are expected to arrive at the station in approximately 24 hours. Where they will find an American astronaut and two Russians.
